What you do for fun and re-creation?: love cooking, movies (doesn't everyone say that), reading novels mostly written by women which are just above the chicklit variety, and sadly from time to time reading current, practical theology

What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?: postmoderism, generational-ism, pluralism

What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?: our openness in responding to these "challenges" and the people committed to the church(es)

What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?: love to just be in conversation with people both like me and different ; share resources, etc ; connecting over the world is cool!

well if you get up anything intersting and 'anlimergant' in Reno i am sure i can turn it into a research visit some time i'm in the states ;o)

Yes, we are indeed still reaching out to the Allston/Brighton community-- we actually have a new (well, almost a year old)outreach program of giving away diapers to families in the neighborhood once per month. it's gotten pretty huge, actually. Great to hear from you. Congrats on becoming rector of Trinity Church, Reno. Being an MDG congregation and a Millennium Congregation are not necessarilly the same. They probably support the MDGs, hence an "MDG Congregation." Millennium Congregation is a specific project that connects congregations of all faiths in supporting Millennium Villages in Africa (currently in Rwanda). You can learn more at www.millenniumcongregation.org. I'd be happy to let you know more and, once you are settled at Trinity, ways you might be able to get involved.
