HI Stefani, great to hear from you and I'm sorry I've been so bad about checking this site that I didn't see it until just now! Yes, we are indeed still reaching out to the Allston/Brighton community-- we actually have a new (well, almost a year old)outreach program of giving away diapers to families in the neighborhood once per month. it's gotten pretty huge, actually. We'd love it if you'd keep us in your prayers. Be well!

Hi Stefani,
So I just saw your post to me from January today - how sad is that! Thanks for your comments on my smile and sermon. There are times I live by the motto - Smile, it makes people wonder what you're up too!
Are you doing anything in connection with Lambeth? Regardless, I must say I am a bit jealous as I am an Anglophile through and through - I love being in England.
Peace,
Valerie

Hey Stefani,
Thanks or the welcome, and the kind comments on my photo! Glad +Barbara will make it to the gathering. And yes, i'd love to meet you - hopefully that may happen sooner rather than later (of course your new dio. could invite me to do a clergy con ed event...)

Hi Stefani,

Great to hear from you. Congrats on becoming rector of Trinity Church, Reno. Being an MDG congregation and a Millennium Congregation are not necessarilly the same. They probably support the MDGs, hence an "MDG Congregation." Millennium Congregation is a specific project that connects congregations of all faiths in supporting Millennium Villages in Africa (currently in Rwanda). You can learn more at www.millenniumcongregation.org. I'd be happy to let you know more and, once you are settled at Trinity, ways you might be able to get involved.

Peace,
Jay

It's a bummer our paths won't cross in England! Who do you suggest that I meet with while I am abroad---people who are deep in the emergent movement?

Hi Stefani, thanks for your warm welcome. Yes, churcharmy has a rep for doing edgy things. How have you connected with it in the UK and is it changing your thoughts about ministry back home? Blessings
