Hey Devon,
Not sure why they don't cross, where are you and what are you doing these days???!!! I am still sputtering along here, not going anywhere if you ever want to do lunch, let me know I can tell you how I am trying to make some big changes here and in our Diocesan councils...
Thanks, Devon,
I'm glad to hear that the conversation with the Commission had some impact. I'm afraid that that is all that will come of it because they had already decided to rehire their former consultant. I think you knew that and also who changed the Bishop's mind. Right?
BTW thanks for being open with me about all that stuff. It was very helpful.
I look forward to working together down the road.
Great to hear back from you. I live outside Grand Rapids, MI; was serving a large independent downtown church here as associate until a year ago; left realizing that I was just too Christian to serve well in UU/liberal religion anymore. Came over to Episcopal church, went through diocesan vocational discernment, resigned UUA ministerial fellowship (yes, in that order), and am now taking a year of personal discernment before potentially accepting nomination to postulancy. I would love to be back in touch with Jill K--just got Emily's Groundhog letter. Small world!
I married David Parish in 2000; our kids are 6 and 3. I am working part-time with a consulting firm--www.vicrisis.com. Give my best to Michael and please pass on my info to Jill! Email nparish at vicrisis dot com
I accidentally deleted your comment... and apparently that happened on your wall too. (I am still figuring this out!) Anyway, yes this is Nurya Lindberg from HDS... and it is great to "see" you again!

Karen's been telling me about your work and I'd like to connect with you about a few questions I have.
Is there a good number to call?
I hope to connect with you before I leave for Seattle on Wednesday.
Thanks alot,
Reverend Tom Brackett
