Hi Karen, I looked at the June 10-12 event descriptino, but I didn't see anything that described who was talking about or presenting on what, specifically, on Friday. Can you tell me more about what the actual agenda/topics/presentations will be and who is doing them. Did I just miss that more detailed information in the post?
Thanks
Kate

Karen,
I am unable to get us connected with Courtney this afternoon as I had hoped. I will get back to you after your trip to Chicago to see if we can reschedule. Hope Chicago goes well. I'll be interested to hear.
Hi Karen -- quick question (I hope you're a/the person to ask): I want to post under the Ministry with Youth, but that option isn't available in the drop-down list of choices. Thoughts?

Hi Karen -- thanks for the welcome! I'd love to see any sort of fresh conversations about the church on here -- what TEC can be in the world, how we're serving that mysterious 20-30s population, what ministry looks like with technology . . . I'll probably post a conversation to the youth ministry forum as soon as I figure out how. I'll have to check about the clergy conference in Mundelein, but good luck there! Nice to meet you,
K--I sat down with your bishop yesterday (were your ears burning), and we had a great visit. Summer and fall look like they've already filled up, but a parish on Mercer Island has been talking about having me up for a retreat, and Greg threatens to have me up for clergy conference sometime. I do hope to be up that way soon, but it's not on the books right now.
This is a great idea! Way to go coming up with it. COTA was actually the one thing I found on the internet that was close to what we wanted to do. It helped me articulate Anglicanism (Since I was the only Anglican...and the only liturgical person of the founding group.)
A legend? And in my own time??? That's dangerous! Glad to finally meet you. I had looked forward to coming to COTA last spring with APLM, but I had to return to NYC to host a choir from South Africa at St. Paul's. I hope to get there the next time I'm in Seattle. Meanwhile, keep on!
Karen, thanks for the note the dates Jan 16-26 that you suggested work great. I will be traveling with my wife Ashley as she has the time available and is partnering with me in the plant. I will start looking for airfare right away and will forward our flight plans once purchased. Thanks for this opportunity we are really looking forward to visiting.
Hey! Kathleen Russell said you, she and Alan were cooking up something for the summer. My name is already on the list. Let me know if I can do something to help put it together.
Peace+
Stephen

Hi there,
I hope you enjoyed your visit to our fair Seminary. I think you definitely made an impression here at Southwest. I would like to chat again about coming up to Seattle to see COTA and the Freemont Abbey up close.
Excellent, exciting , fun and full of real life blog, thanks and love the monastic aspect = to me that means living a prayerful attitude or contemplative life 24/7 in this present moment;

Karen! Hope you are well...I heard that there is some kind of pre-gathering goings on in Memphis with Phyllis Tickle before things kick off with the Great Emergence event. Could you fill me in?
Thanks Karen
I know Gareth as I was on placement with Moot for 6 months and still intend to be part of that community.
At some time I guess it would be good to mtalk about lngth, cost and all those sorts of things. I'd be keen to come on placement and thing people here would support that.

Thanks for the invitation. I don't know if I'll be able to swing any Conspiracy meetings, but I'm certain our paths will cross in realspace.

I went to UK as part of my sabbatical last summer to learn more about Fresh Expressions - Mark and SafeSpace was part of the experience. Good stuff.
