Identity is probably THE topic for discussion at the upcoming Anglimergent meeting in March.

What is Anglimergent? Who is Anglimergent? Are we really Anglican and Emergent? What are we doing? What do we want?

As with many things postmodern, what Anglimergent even is can be tough to define - and I'm betting each one of us would describe it a bit differently (if not radically differently).

So, what is your understanding of the Anglimergent identity? What is Anglimergent to you?

Tim's questions are right on and I know for me that I am hard wired to be an Anglican. I was raised in the Anglican church of Canada and I am often torn between what I hear the Anglican communion saying and my notions of the compromise and the the middle way. I want anglimergent expression to go deeply back and forward at the same time and I have no other way to say that.

the people asking the questions. You gave me that idea, I think. And the people committed to "that which is greater than can be imagined" who find themselves walking towards that in the Anglican tradition.
