OK, I need opinions. If I were to attend only four or five days of GC, which ones would you recommend? I'm thinking of being there Tuesday through Sunday, which would have me there for the Opening Eucharist AND seminary gatherings on Saturday night. Any opinions?

Ok, here's the info, ph# 714-637-1390. email trinityoforange@yahoo.com. and their website is www.trinityorange.org. If you check their website you can get their address and Google a map of their location in relation to the Convention Center. Finding the Center is easy...it's right across the street from Disneyland. (Just South)

There's a couple of churches that might put you up in their fellowship halls. Wouldn't be all that comfortable, but it would be cheap. Trinity Episcopal in Orange (really close by) has a recently built youth center that they often host traveling youth groups in. They'd be worth a try. Let me get back to you with a phone number/email address.

Sure thing, Rick. Hey...one thing I think of right away. I'm traveling with a group of kids on a mission trip out there during Convention. Any ideas where we could stay for cheap?

Hi Wendy, as you can see, that's the "left coast" beach right behind me. I live near Anaheim, and I'm attending Convention, so let me know how I can help.

Unfortunately, no. Even as close as it is (and as much help as I have with lodging) I can't get away for it. Take good notes and let the rest of us know what transpired!

I love all the energy around this! We will develop some type of sign-up sheet or protocol at the March meeting and post it for everyone. Are you coming to the March meeting, Tom?

I'd love to volunteer at the Anglimergent booth, since I'm hoping to be there for the first four or five days of General Convention. Is there some sort of sign-up site or area?

cool. Keep us posted on how to do that. Since I won't be getting to any meetings on such, one brainstorm on the booth is to use corrugated metal (Home Depot, it's magnetic) and wood and screws. along with some backlit, large photos (Urban Outfitters look) and computer kiosks. As long as it's classy and doesn't look like a junior high youth group room, I'm sure what ever folks come up with will be lovely. Will various Anglimergent groups have a chance to send in photos/brochures/videos/etc to include?
