My interests sit in that twilight land between theology and New Testament studies. I've been applying for theology the last two years (NT the two years before that). Programs are just insanely competitive (as one senior scholar from Duke reassured me). I've pretty well decided to revert to NT, since it is the world with which I am most familiar (and from whence come the majority of my recommendations). Also, it is the world to which I continually return in my theological work.

I just checked out your blog and other site. I like what I see. I look forward to perusing your work in all my free time as well. :)

Aaron,

Thanks for the encouragement with the blog. I'll see if I can work up a few things. I've just been extremely preoccupied trying to get into doctoral programs, pursuing ordination and engaging in ministry while holding down a day job as a server. But demand may bring supply. :)

Best,
Andy

Thanks for inviting me on this thing, Aaron!

How's life? I'd be lying if I said I was doing too much work this semester. Just trying to hang tight until I can finally start to work.

Why isn't there anything about frolf-ing on your profile on here? What are you hiding from people?
