What you do for fun and re-creation?
Travel! Learn Spanish. Read. Friends and family. Google. Swimming in the summer sun.
Movies. Participating in "Circles of Trust" with people who care enough to listen and tell me the truth
What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
Taking time to listen, understand and respond to the Spirit's leading.
Learning to practice adaptive change.
Practicing patience and hopefulness when we don't know the answers/solutions
Living in a time of ambiguity and liminality (look it up! its a very cool word)
Fear of real change and the loss it may bring to some. (My church might close or merge. I might loose my paid ministry position)
Choosing "safety over adventure" and "empathy over responsibility" (Friedman)
Maintaining models of ministry that do not produce fruit.
Seminary education that trains for a church that no longer exists
A professional corporate model for priests and bishops with the attendant expectations of salary scales, benefits, pension funds reflected in our diocesan and national canons.
Anti missional canons and policies.
The constant demands of beautiful old buildings that strain or drain human and financial resources for mission.
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
Discovering new ways of being Church...
Learning how to respond to the life generating Spirit of God
Learning how "to welcome the stranger."
What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?
Need to think about this for a while...
But for starters, I need fun, laughter, humor, hopefullness...

Can I bring anything to your home on Thursday? Can't wait to see you!
I can make it to the conversation in July, and am so thrilled for the invite! Let me know what to bring, or how I can help if you wish. I heard your daughters were having a great time at the wedding, and will look forward to connecting when you return.
Hi friend. I'd love to catch up with you, trade stories, drink some tea, talk about your awesome daughters, and hear all about your ministry. You hip to get together sometime?
I did join up while in Belize... and then decided not to do any email or websurfing while I was there. Just got back last night, late. It was a wonderful trip.
