I think we should invite the where two or three are gathered to be a part of this site. What do you think? Also, I have a new email address: priestdawn@gmail.com.
My questions is much more mundane...I want to know how you manage that large active family! I have a small, active one, and juggling church and family is an interesting exercise--I'd love to hear how you do it and if you have particular tips!
The CofE had a 'department' for 'Fresh expressions' (a great start, but is turning out to be much too modern in structure and still does not put power in the hands of on the ground leaders (as they gave the funds to diocesan bishops instead of a grant team made up of practitioners who know more about how to give suppor to initiatives that are solid and to continue to resource and support them in an ongoing network with accountability.
My dream now is for 815 would someday work with our Anglimergent network and provide support for us, similar to support given to 'departments' in the current, modern structural framework of the denomination.
We would be quite cheaper and more effective in connecting and resourcing practitioners as 'we are the practitoners,' so no 'middle' structure and staff, but 815 supporting practitioner who are networked to support their own mission and resource the wider church.
I've been seeking an 'audience' on emerging church and TEC (with Charles Fulton, Doug Fenton, and anyone else) for five years now without much institutional inroads or support at all for this.
I'm praying Bishop Schori might be interested to support Anglimergent TEC, though I've not heard her speak much on emerging church, church planting, next generations outreach / 20/20 (whatever happened to this)?
But I'm glad to see you on this site, and I look forward to talking (voice). Soon.

Any follow-up planned for the churches?
