Ooh its really exciting at the moment! We've started this new service, called Transcendence. Its in York minster Crypt (which is the space we were in last year when you came), but we've teamed up with some folks at the Minster, including the Precentor (who has a very creative brain! ) and created a sort of Ancient-Future Mass. We're very much enjoying playing with the space, having a gospel procession upstairs, and allowing people to wander around and interact with prayer stations in different places, and sometimes we get Minster singers too, singing amazing stuff in Latin, as well as our Djs and decks and ambience and techological hymn remixes. Heady stuff! And its growing, which is exciting, and its bringing back some folks who have previously slipped off the church radar which is even more exciting. And last month and this month the chairs have been taking out of the big nave space, so its even more atmospheric.
