COTA is a joint Lutheran/Episcopal Plant, and there's a great daughter Lutheran community called Church of the Beloved in Edmonds. http://belovedschurch.org/

Thank you, Tim, for the suggestion. I have been to St. Mark's before, but not for some time, and would be interested to see the changes. Anything happening with our Lutheran cousins in the faith?

COTA: http://www.apostleschurch.org/ You should also go to Compline at St. Mark's Cathedral on Sunday night at 9:30. I'm out of town that week, or I'd say drop me an email! As it is, message Karen Ward - I'm sure she'd be happy to find someone to h…

Dear friends, I will be in the Seattle area in the third week of July and am looking for communities who are living/exploring emerging identities as Episcopalians. Any ideas as to where I should visit?

What you do for fun and re-creation?
I am a mother of two young girls, so family time is spent getting skunked at Cribbage, learning how to navigate DS games, and getting the kitchen table messy with crafts. I love gardening, quilting, and murder mysteries that do away with clerics.
What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
If we are to grow as the body of Christ, we need to deepen our roots and re-express our spiritual practices in ways that feed the hunger of our neighbours.
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
We live in one of the least-churched parts of North America, yet amongst people of deep longing and integrity. The via media of the Anglican way is wide and solid enough to accomodate many more pilgrims.
What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?
I would like to connect with Anglican communities that are finding ways to re-express traditional spiritual disciplines in new settings. How have you understood contemplative prayer, outreach, and integration with community groups in your life and work?
