What you do for fun and re-creation?
Take advantage of Chicago's wonderful live theatre, museums, concerts and other cultural attactions. Read, knit, make stuff, whatever.
What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
Letting the world know what a wonderful and open church we are, then being that wonderful and open church.
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
After engaging with people to find out what the problems they face are, I would say that getting involved in community organizing to seek solutions to those problems is our biggest opportunity. So many people struggle with financial insecurity and lonliness. They lack the community that can help them with their problems and see that they are not alone. All this would be a great way to share the love of Christ with one another.
What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?
Provide a forum to discuss the needs and desires of the church. How can we help each other live up to the our calling in Christ?
