I think that you have a good start in identifying the 'principles' that will guide your revision. I have hopes of finishing a project this summer of a new form of daily prayer --- morning prayer, midday prayer, evening prayer and night prayer --- using the structure of Celebrating Common Prayer, the publication of the English province of the Society of Saint Francis. This form would use materials from Evangelical Lutheran Worship and other resources from the Consultation on Common Texts.
