What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
Shifting from a membership or "established" culture which has been the social context for this parish for over 100 years, to a more inentional and uncondtionally welcoming culture where people can encounter God’s presence in worship, be formed in Christ through shared practice, discover how God has gifted them, and be enabled to live out their faith through personal engagement in a rapidly changing world.
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
Finding common worship, discipleship, and mission with all who wish to follow God in the transforming way of Jesus. I believe there is much in the Anglican ethos that can truly bless those who yearn to diminish the gap between what they say they believe and what they actually allow God to accomplish in their lives. Let's claim all that is good and constructive in every faith and wisdom tradition!

Peter, the heart will wander! We had great Sunday with Kenneth Kearon, Secretary General of the Anglican Communion. Sounds like Lambeth 08 will be quite inspirational and significant. Best to you as you wade through the grading and comments.
Rick, how are things up in the northern section of our great diocese? I've got a ton of grading and comments to do, and I always find that procrastination leads me to do things like join anglimergent...
