Probation Officer. Tired of being the sword of Caesar.
What you do for fun and re-creation?
Coffee is my drug of choice. I also like to try to read things above my pay-grade, and act like I understand some of it.
What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
Hmmm.... Not mistaking aging innovations for timeless truth.
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
A value of acceptance and participation in community over doctrinal homogeneity.
What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?
I'm back in the "catholic" church after sojourning among the evangelicals for a couple of decades. I feel called to be part of a small Episcopal congregation in rural Northern California and am trying to figure out how to be who and what I am in that context. We're shifting the congregation from a typical institutional model to a community that tries to live out the Gospel in blessing the surrounding community. I'm hoping I pick up something useful poking around here. :)
