Planting a new parish in Northwest Austin named St. Julian of Norwich
What you do for fun and re-creation?
flyfish, read, cook, hang out with friends and family
What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
Translating timeless, life-transforming tradition to a language that speaks to the hearts and minds of post-modern folk...particularlly young folk. Refocus all the church on mission and service. Raising up young vocations for ordination.
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
We are a broad thinking, incarnational church that cares about justice and is rooted in a sacramental tradition that recognizes the sacred in the comtemporary context of corporate and individual life. We are all about Jesus present today in the world (at our best).
What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?
A dynamic exchange of ideas that leads to "New Creation" in the life of the church and individual Christ followers.

Hey Miles!
You're planting a church, where? Who's doing Canterbury? I've been in Eastern Michigan for a little over 6 weeks at my new parish. Time is flying by. Good to see you here.

Church planting? Like...real church, not the St. Barney-the-Purple-Dinosaur thing? Excellent...I will be listening with eager ears.
a number of folks have suggested we connect - let me know if you'd like to grab lunch
