Dennis Di Vincenzo is a friend of mine and an extraordinary graphic artist and designer. He created this illustration as an editorial on the subject of religion and violence. I have been working in InfraRed digital for some time. The audio/motion stuff at the beginning looks like Macromedia Flash; that is not what I mean. I'm talking about broadcast quality stereo audio with slides of stills and possibly transitions to video clips. And podcasts. Don't know the technology. ALL photojournalists are going to have to know it or write for a home town weekly print paper with no website.

It's a large parish and thus a large job - but it's only temporary. We hope to have a new rector in place by the first of the year. I'm not sure what that will mean for me . . . stay tuned. Things at St. Stephen's seem to be going well, but it's hard to tell from a few conversations over a single weekend. I hope you all are indeed back in the swing of things, doing that voodoo that you do oh so well.
