- What you do for fun and re-creation?
- I run. A lot. And I love it. No really, I'm crazy. I've completed 5 marathons.
I also like photography, beer, and traveling the world. Some of the places I traveled in 2008: Alaska, Yukon Territory, British Columbia, and India.
- What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
- Speaking of my own Lutheran tradition, I sense a large disconnect with how church has always been done and how people (especially us young adults) live their lives presently. As a spiritual director I take special note of connecting the daily life to the walk of faith. The Lutheran church is immersed in reformation theology and yet has IMHO lost sight of the ongoing reformation. The challenge to the church is to engage in culture and be transformed to meet the ever growing spiritual hunger in the world.
