Lilly Allen is a voice we need to pay attention to if her recent song "The Fear" is any indication. I used it in a service recently to help our congregation think about the culture we are in. The lyrics are an interesting critque of the "party world" the middle class and wealthier in the west have formed ourselves in.I must confess I think Allen is laughing all the way to the bank but I think she understands the subtle death-wish that popular culture and materialism is raining on us all.See More
