What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
Established churches are lagging behind members whose emerging ethics, spiritual understandings and values demand a more inclusive, servant-oriented worship community
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
If we want to put God's face on help for a hurting world, there is no end of opportunity almost anywhere we care to look. I guess the biggest opportunity, broadly expressed, would be to humbly shift our resources and talents into programs that minister to people in need, physically, educationally, spiritually, emotionally. environmentally. A quiet Godly presence in our communities and in the world. A constant, strong force for inclusion and equity. Perhaps a giving up of emphasis on our social presence in our communities--doing what's right rather than what's socially acceptable when appropriate.
What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?
I'm just learning about it. And wouldn't say I have a ministry per se. I guess I want it to be that church that I haven't yet found.

So great to see you! Based on my conversations this weekend, this site and its successor (anglimergent.org which is supposed to launch next year) will be the virtual connecting place for the emerging/Episcopal conversation. This conversation looks to be just getting started... welcome to the ground floor!
