I think that it's always useful to make sure that one is using the resources at hand fully before trying to reinvent them--I often find that when I try to reinvent somehting, I actually find it somewhere I haven't looked yet--there's still plenty of…

What you do for fun and re-creation?
In addition to being a full-time parent and spouse/partner, I love to spend time with people over other topics than "what's for dinner "and "have you done your homework." I read a lot of murder mysteries, walk on the beach and in the woods, knit as long as it's cool enough, and spin wool--from friends' sheep, dogs, and alpacas when I'm lucky enough to have it. I like to cook for celebrations. I'm also a Godly Play teacher. Godly Play creeps into many unanticipated aspects of my life!
What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
I think a big challenge in my sponsoring parish, and for my future (and current) ministries is how to keep and enliven the stalwart membership--and shake things up a little bit for them, as well as to reach out to unserved/underserved both within the parish and beyond. Finding the Gospel balance in comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable--while maintaining/growing a pledging base, having excellent liturgy, etc.
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
see above.

Hey Kit, thanks for the installation bulletin you sent to Karen - and the shout out hello! It's very cool - we'll adapt it a bit and use it I think! In England they literally move around the church so that's what I want to "add" a bit more to what you've done but definitely good "work".

Hiya Kit!
So... ordination around the corner, eh? Very cool. When?
And what beyond that?
I left parish ministry last July, and am starting a clinical psych degree in the fall at Wheaton.
Blessings... Catharine
From a message I left on the front page...Hooray for Kit!
Our beloved Kit Wang reports on other networks that she has met with the Standing Comm., has crossed all her "T"'s and dotted her "I's" and has passed from that perilous land of Candidacy for Holy Orders to Ordinadi. Woo-hoo! Congrats Kit! May your continued ministry bless the world in need of your love....David
