Heading Westward- looking to connect with people in Nebraska and surrounding area

Hello- I'm finishing up my last semester at Harvard Divinity School and will be heading out to Omaha in the Fall to work in the Ressurection House interns program there.  Definately looking forward to getting to know new folks and churches out that way.  I thought I'd drop a note here to see if I might connect with anyone before I move!

What you do for fun and re-creation?
hike, pilgrimage, chant, cook, talk to trees on a regular basis.
What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
Finding ways to hold together in our diversity, with grace so as to be free to do the important work God is waiting for us to join God with in the world.
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
New inspiration from movements like the emerging church. New chances to truly do justice and grow in faith with solidarity with a world in need.
What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?
I'm excited to see mainline communities, from which I draw my roots becoming interested and supportive of this "conversation." My experience with the Emerging church and related Missional movements is that they can become fragmented or transitory- so anything, like this place that connects and promotes communities is very helpful to me, I think.

It would be great to see more Anglican-wide, or even inter-denominational conversations around the Emerging church and other new vibrant, progressive expressions of the Christian faith in deep conversation with our roots.

Peter Rollins Coming to Boston (April 7th), and some Humorous Post-Colonial Celtic Theological Musings

Wished to share this recent blog post, reflecting on some of my own theological conversations with the ancient Irish Church and how some of its tensions mirror, and critique some of modern Christianities colonial/racial excesses.
