What you do for fun and re-creation?
i'm always up for a bit of craftivism, or just some plain old knitting... dogs, bikes, kites, films...
What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
Getting a life, and facing the missional imperative to a culture of spiritual tourists.. (if it sounds like an Ian Mobsby influence, that's because he wrote this while I was packing down an alt.worship service! And the next answer too...)
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
Anglicans have a deep tradition to engage with contemporary culture in a post-attractional; form of church. The challenge is whether we are brave enough.
What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?
sometimes it feels crazy to imagine something other than what takes up so much of the church's energy and resource... sometimes it feels really lonely when the people writing blogs seems to be thinking and dreaming and imagining stuff that makes more sense than the kinds of conversations you have with local colleagues... sometimes ordination vows seem a distant reality from what occupies so much of your time and energy... maybe this can be a place to be less isolated and to find others who speak the same mother tongue...
