Finding a balance between the riches of our traditional liturgy and staying attuned to the movement of the society; not throwing the baby out with the bathwater; focusing on community and communion instead of sexuality;
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
Our close connections to "ancient things," our natural propensity for a religious life grounded in the depth of tradition AND the breadth of daily life; our focus on a religious life that is tangible -- based on practice, experience, art, and Eucharist.
What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?
I would like to hear about what others are doing, or how they see emerging church ideas playing out in their parishes, even if their parish remains in "traditional" form.
