Fr. Francis Robert Syms OSJB has not received any gifts yet
I am privileged and blessed to be the usual Celebrant for Church of the Holy Spirit's Wednesday 7pm Eucharist.
I am privileged and blessed to lead St. Timothy's Saturday afternoon 'alternative' service, which begins at 2pm with lunch, then we have Bible teaching/discussion, prayer and Communion...our prayer and Communion has a small bit o' liturgy (we burn incense during prayer) and is influenced, of course, by the Book of Common Prayer.
I am privileged and blessed to serve as an 'urban missionary' with Hope for the Hopeless ministry in Oklahoma City. We meet for prayer at 7am weekdays, and from that flows ministry to 'the least, the lost and the outcasts' - we are known for a weekly life and employment class for ex-felons, ministry to ex-sex offenders and to the poor.
I am privileged and blessed to do radio ministry and entertainment. Currently I host the 'Robbie Allen Show' Mondays 4-6pm (CST) on www.91online.com (christian rock, top 40, hip-hop and rap, metal, dance and electronica).
I am also privileged and blessed to be a huge music lover, and to play drums and percussion. I have been blessed to play in mainstream rock bands and worship bands in churches, and to have been involved in the recording of 3 albums - 'And Then There's A Rose' with Stage Dive (Houston,TX, original alternative hard rock - drums), a worship cd with Holy Comforter Episcopal Church Worship Team (Sping,TX - percussion), and '14 Songs' with Fung-eye (Oklahoma City, OK - original hard rock bordering on metal - drums, percussion, and writing). I currently play drums in the band Wretch (2-guitar classic rock and hard rock).
And I am a permanently-vowed monk and the Postulant Master in the Franciscan-based Order of St. John the Beloved, with all the wonder that the monastic life is...
