What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?

How does the Anglican/Episcopal church stay relevant in an increasingly diverse, post-denominational north american context? How can we take the best of our traditions and practices and apply them to current contexts, leaving what no longer fits at the door?

What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?

We've got a great tool box. How to package our 'stuff' in ways that others can access without being too presumptuous and arrogant.

What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?

I've just taken a new job as a chaplain at an Episcopal boarding & day school that doesn't know what it means to be Episcopalian and they're asking me to tell them. I don't know what to say and I think that the Anglimergent conversation is one that I'd like to participate in given that maybe 1/2 of the 435 students at the school identify as Christian, about 30% of the student body is "International", kids mostly from Korea, Taiwan or China, very few of which are Christian. I think this could be an exciting forum to try out some of our Anglican 'stuff', but I could use the support of some others who are trying out some 'stuff' in other settings, too.
