- Recreation? When I'm home, I love riding bikes, playing minigolf, and baking cookies with my daughter, Emma. As a family, we enjoy movies and theater and yelling about politics.

- Loving our Anglican neighbors as ourselves
- What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
- There are so many wonderful things about being an Anglican in today's world that I can barely keep count. Perhaps the biggest opportunity we have, however, is living out our generative faith in an age crying out for, as Hildegard of Bingen would have said, the "greenness of God." We are truly the bearers of a life-giving tradition.

Mount Calvary, Santa Barbara, Fire Victim
Friends,
Many Episcopalians--and many others as well--have been refreshed, challenged, and spiritually deepened by the ministry of Mount Calvary monastery in Santa Barbara, California--that includes me. When I was in a significant personal crisis, the brothers "adopted" me, giving me a community at a time when I felt lost. Jesus said… - Indeed, this area is spectacular. On the other hand, though, the social contrasts are huge. I still miss being in a parish, but I can see how my approach to church development is helping. By the way, do you anything about a conference, conversation or something of that sort that emergent church leaders will hold in April in Chicago? B. Mary really wants to get to know better the emergent church experience and she would like to be part of that conversation. Any idea who should I talk to about it? Your daughter looks so gorgeous.

good to run into you again. Things are good down here on Alabama's Gulf Coast. We've started an "emerging" community called 2021 that tries to meet the needs of our huge population of water people by meeting on docks on Saturday evenings as they come in after a day on the water.
