Walk, play with my kids, hike, write poetry, garden
What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
Our technological, geopgraphically dispersed communities allow us to live isolated lives or lives in which our dependencies are diffused and hidden. Our challenge is to create communities in which we cannot escape one another and the attendant joys and challenges that come with real community.
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
We have ancient, beautiful liturgies that express a wide breadth of God Creator, Savoir, Holy Spirit, God transcendant and immanent. We practice the sacraments, which open us as communities to the real presence of Christ.
What do you want Anglimergent to be? and what other Anglimergent resources, gatherings, activities or events would you find helpful for your ministry?
I do not know what the Emergent or Anglimergent church is. I would be strengthened in my work as priest and my walk as a disciple to explore with others how to build tighter knit communities of faith. To explore how a group might submit to physical committments to one another as a means to depend on one another more spiritually.
