i find that we often tell folks they ought to live in humility. but the conversation is usually both parties demanding the same from the other: : you need to see where i am coming from, and then you'd understand and change your ways :: well, you ne…

i find we often take a splinter of a perspective and run with it, regardless of consequence. and we often argue against something, even if something beautiful is also to be found in that which we disagree with - and this causes disassociation, it c…

heidi, i don't disagree. but too often, we who proclaim to children of god, take this message, and instead of proclaiming the good news, and telling the message of christ, preach a message about the christ. we turn our gatherings into a social even…

odds are, the chains of life are very similar to the chains that bind us as a community. what are these chains and how can we be liberated from them? it's not always easy to look in our closet and actually put a name on the skeletons, but after…

What you do for fun and re-creation?
hang out with the family. read, write, and study a variety of things. my trees in pots seem to take up some time as well.
What do you see as some of the biggest challenges facing Anglicans today?
this guy once spoke of how we speak and still resonating love. i think that's the challenge. to share our ideas without having the ideas drive out love.
What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities for Anglicans today?
a history of such communication. in any parish you'll find an affirmation that we are 'one' - even as we are all differing in many ways.

regarding the world around us - we have such an opportunity to continue to engage and incarnate our faith in such a way that it resonates in so many ways with others.
