Andrew,
Karen Ward directed me your way concerning a "walk to Lambeth." I am going to be visiting/studying in England from September through December and would love to hear more about what you are doing.
If you get a chance, let me know what you are up to.
Thanks!
Peace,
Travis
Hi ya,
I'm offering to help get something going ... there's the chance to ask the Lambeth "people" for a room and they'll set up tea, etc for a nominal charge. I am definitely there at Lambeth on the first 2-3 days. Are you around then? I got one response - Karen's bp in Seattle who's interested. We'd need to build from there.
Of course we can do something else, but need to decide quickly bec the Lambeth "fringe" spaces are filling up.
Thanks -
I'll "friend" you and we can email.

Hi Andrew !
Karen Ward told me about your recent blog post about an Anglimergent Fringe event at Lambeth. She knew that my spouse/partner is doing one and asked if I'd be interested ... I sort of am.
I have some of the info on fringe events from the Lambeth organizers. Seems like doing a single event is what they're coordinating - not quite what the DioCalifornia people (whom you mentioned) are doing.
I live in Manchester and will be in Lambeth in the first few days (20,21,22 July). Will you be attending Lambeth -- what days?
Anyway ... what do you think? Shall we have a go at it? Obviously we'd post to Anglimergent in the near future.
peace, -- Stefani
Hey Andrew, great list of Anglimergent links on your blog today. I added a link to it as an "update" on my Rowan Williams/Emergent Church video post on the EV blog.
my road to sheffield heading over 500 metres has had some snow, but not a lot...mild winter so far. but the roads have flooded to become rivers, rather scary to drive on up and own sharp inclines. the other day the rivers on the roads froze, and no surprise the roads closed! in Low manchester it has been seriously wet.
Hi, Andy....It's so good to make your acquaintence at last; and I'd be delighted to ask Jossey-Bass to send along a copy of THE WORDS as soon as they come in from the bindery late next week. Can you send me a snail-mail addresss for them to use? ....and I do know tallskinnykiwi, believe me. Congratulations on that good work. But given your comments here, I think that the forthcoming book that may be of greater interest to you is THE GREAT EMERGENCE -HOW CHRISTIANITY IS CHANGING AND WHY, which comes out from Baker's "emersion" imprint in October. Galleys for that should be ready by mid-summer, and I would be delighted to ask that one be sent to you, if that is indeed the one you are interested in. Let me know whether one or both and where...blessings, p
