I want to be sure and keep the conversation going around a new church to begin in the season of Epiphany. Who's interested in joining this exciting work?

I'm in...we need to transform now from the talking to the being-doing....shalom, Rex
I am! Sara, my wife, has nominated RAchel's place as the place of gathering. Rachel, up for it??? I suppose unless someone else has a better place or idea?!...
Any thoughts on moving forward at your house, Rachel? I like the idea of an art space, too. Maybe first month or two at your house and then we move into a more public space?
oh yeah by the way I am in as well
Okay I was at the Region 8 meeting and they asked for announcements and I did not say anything about the new church. I am hoping that we can get together and spend some time thinking about how we want to present this all to the diocese.

I am thinking that we need to all be on the same page around
*the purpose of the community
*how we communicate
*where we meet
*when we meet
*how we invite people in

etc, etc.

so do we try and think some of this through before convention.
Yep. Absolutely. How about getting together over dinner. How about next Wednesday?
Wednesday dinner works for me. Do you want to come to my house for dinner? Like at 6pm?
Well, I may have double booked myself. Two of my friends have been repeatedly asking me to see Mama Mia. They had settled on Wednesday before I got to them. I'll let you know.
I could do it Thursday, next wed, and next thursday just let me know. And what of Rachel, Aron, Rex et al? I know wed. do not work for Aron because of programs at his church. As for others???
I could do 7:00 on Thursday -- a little late but I have a womenwinning fundraiser at 6.
OK, my Wednesday is clear. Let's do Wednesday night. I'll email Aron, Rachel and Rex.
I actually asked about Thurs, too. We'll see what works best for folks.
